Head of Marketing at Sweat Economy · open to new roles

I build audiences,
and keep them.

Seven years growing communities and running marketing for consumer apps used by millions, most recently as Head of Marketing at Sweat Economy. I'm comfortable with both sides of the job: creative work across social, content and video, and the data behind it, from holdout tests to retention curves.

How I work

Habits from both sides of the conversation

I started on the support desk and now lead marketing. Seven years of answering people directly shaped how I run everything else.

  1. People first, AI as the tool

Automation and AI take on the repetitive work: moderation, translations, research and first drafts. That frees my time for what only people can do well, like welcoming newcomers and answering the hard questions properly.

  2. Prove it, don't assume it

Every campaign gets measured against something real. Holdout groups show what a message actually caused, and on-chain dashboards show what people actually did.

  3. Make it myself

I write, design and edit most of my own content. Skipping the hand-offs means ideas ship the same day, while the moment still matters.

  4. Earn trust in the open

Live prize draws, on-chain proof of payment and real winners telling their own stories. In a sceptical market, showing beats telling.

About

Beyond the work

Ashton at home with the cat

I started on the support desk at Sweatcoin, answering questions from users of an app with over 210 million registrations. That’s where I learned the thing that still drives my work: people stick around when they feel heard.

Since then I’ve been promoted four times, from Community Lead to Head of Marketing. Along the way I built communities of hundreds of thousands, grew an X account from zero to 585K, and learned to back every idea with data, using holdout tests, on-chain dashboards and retention curves.

I work equally well with mainstream consumer audiences and crypto-native ones.

I’m based in Wales and I speak Welsh. I’ve also worked the shop floor at Home Bargains, so I know what customer service looks like up close. The cat is the real Head of Community.
